Inspiration

Hey. The Live-in Blog has been so inspirational I wanted to start another. Whereas this blog is an ideal place for discussing issues and ideas that focus of our community, I wanted to start a blog focusing on ideas that affect the church as a whole. How do we communicate who Jesus is in our culture? What is the gospel, and what does it look like in the life of a Christian (not as obvious an answer as you might initially think)? What does discipleship look like in our culture? Especially, how do we change the way people view Christians? How can we get words like "intolerant," "judgmental," and "ignorant" out of the minds of folks when they think of Christians?

PPS - Malchus was the servant of the high priest in Jesus' day, who had his ear removed by Peter's sword in the garden. There's a better way to live than just swinging our Holy Swords at anyone who comes to challenge us.
