What is happening to our Church- Capital "C"!?It feels like we have been chasing information and meaning for so long... Every day I hear something new. As of late I watch my best friends struggle with change in their world and their emotions. Most evenings my own husband looks wiped out from the hard and difficult work going on with in our church. I hear several different stories, worries and even rumors from several different people each week.
It seems to me that there is a lot going on that is causing us to struggle. If I were more of a spiritual warfare buff I would probably see it as an attack.
I know we have the capabilities to create something great- but I fear we will never get there if we don't start to go somewhere. I want to really put things on the table to make our community healthy. No more secrets, or guesses, or inferences.
Perhaps this will be just the place to put our hearts and minds on the table, get rid of some of the junk that has been creating arguments, confusion... to really start talking... a conversation that can lead us all to serve Christ better.

Guaranteed I left a few people out. I hope that this can be an open forum for discussion, ideas, prayer and community. Were I not pressed for time this intro would be more eloquent. But I am raw and feel hurried, and so, this is too. I hope we can all be bold and real.

What do you want to see at your church... this is a totally open question for all who want to discuss it and hopefully for the 2 groups launching churches it can provide some insight.I am excited to hear what you have to say. Perhaps when I am not bouncing a baby and typing with one hand I will answer it myself. I think that Aug is suggesting a charismatic church in this photo...
